Re-Opening Policies and Procedures

Re-Opening

We’ll be following guidelines from the DOH & CDC, as well as our national and local massage associations to ensure every one is as safe as possible

While we are following guidelines, please know that we do so willingly. We strongly believe in the science behind these guidelines.

New Policies

Extra Time For Cleaning

  • We’ll have extended time between clients to allow for cleaning.

Please limit before and after session conversations.

Masks

Masks are required for clients and staff.
In an effort to reduce risk as our numbers increase we are adding requirements to the type of masks being worn:

Acceptable Masks:

  • N95 (w/o respirator)

  • KN95 (w/o respirator)

  • Well fitted 3 layer masks

  • Surgical masks

Not Acceptable:

  • Single or double layer masks

  • Neck gators

Additional Mask Info:

  • Masks are required at all times anywhere in the building.

  • Mouth & Nose

    • Keep your nose covered!

I have zero tolerance for anyone uncovering their nose while face down. If you do, you will not be permitted to rebook.

Masks Available
Mask not up to standards?
We have kN95 masks available for $5.
Supply is limited.

  • Masks keep us safe.

No one wants to wear a mask, but it’s what we do to limit the number of germs we are sharing.

This is non-negotiable. If you are unwilling to mask up, we invite you to schedule elsewhere.

    • Masks should be worn when entering the building and throughout the session.

Other Safety Measures

  • There will be a short intake form to complete prior to EACH session.

  • If you show up sick, even if you THINK it’s just allergies, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment.

  • If you are sick, please be considerate and give as much time as possible when letting us know you are sick and unable to attend your appointment.

  • If we are feeling sick AT ALL, we will let you know and reschedule your appointment.

  • For now, all appointments will be held in the main room where we can open windows and have air circulation throughout.

  • To avoid client overlap, we won’t be working at the same time and we ask that you arrive on time (not late and not too early) for your appointments. Feel free to wait in your car if you arrive early.

  • Please be mindful not to touch handrails and any other surfaces when you come up to THE SPACE.

  • Wash your hands prior to entering, (we’ll open the door for you so you don’t have to touch anything.) Wash your hands when you leave as well.

  • Please maintain social distancing while in our office before and after your massage.

  • We have added in several humidifiers and air purifiers as well.

I may add to this list after opening if we find that there are any other measures that we are taking that need to be added here.

My Personal Measures

Personally, I have taken this all very seriously and have been super cautious for myself and my family during the shutdown. Since this all started…

  • I haven’t eaten out.

  • I haven’t set foot in a shop; I’ve had our groceries delivered and we’ve thoroughly wiped everything down when it arrived.

We have been diligent.

  • My kids haven’t even been in direct contact with their dad because he was still working and we wanted to keep our household as secure as possible.

We’ve made sacrifices.

I’ve stayed informed.

I’ve read everything I can about guidelines and recommendations on re-opening, on how the virus is spread, and what we can do to stay safe.

Your safety matters to me. A lot. I take that very seriously.

I think with these guidelines and mutual care all around, we’ll get through this.

I am excited to work again and I look forward to seeing you!
