Why We Charge for Late Cancels + No-Shows
For the skimmers:
We’d rather massage you than charge you, but late cancels and no-shows come with real costs for our small business.
Lost opportunities: Someone else may have wanted your spot but went elsewhere.
Impact on therapists: Your therapist sets aside time just for you—if you don’t show, they don’t get paid.
Sustainability: Too many missed appointments = less revenue, and we can’t stay open to serve you.
Our policy is simple:
Cancels within 24 hrs + no-shows = full charge.
Repeated late cancels or no-shows will result in suspended booking privileges.
If we refill your spot:
You’ll get a credit toward your next session.
If we fill it with a discount, we’ll credit your payment minus that discount.
We get that life (and sickness) happens, but these policies keep THE SPACE thriving, your therapists supported, and massage here for you when you need it.

We’d always rather be massaging you than charging fees. But because we’re a small, sole-powered business, last-minute cancellations and no-shows have ripple effects we can’t ignore.
The Ripple Effect
When you cancel within 24 hours regardless of the reason, chances are someone else was hoping to book that spot. They may have gone elsewhere and we may miss the chance to welcome a new client who could have become a long-term regular. Your therapist also set aside that time for you. If you don’t show, they don’t get paid or the business pays them anyway, and we take the hit without revenue.
Multiply this across more than a few appointments, and it becomes unsustainable.
Our Policy
Cancellations within 24 hrs & no-shows: full session charge.
Repeat late cancels (right at the 24-hour mark): considered a red flag. Even if no fee applies, we may suspend online booking privileges in favor of clients who are booking with a commitment.
Multiple no-shows or late cancels: Will lead to suspended booking privileges.
What Happens If We Refill Your Spot
We don’t want you to pay for nothing. If we’re able to refill your appointment, we’ll add your payment to your account balance for use on your next session.
If we refill the spot at full price, your full payment is credited to your account.
If we fill it with a discount (like our $15–$20 same-day discount), we’ll credit your payment minus the discount.
Example: You’re charged $120 for a missed session. If we refill that spot with a $20 discount, $100 is added to your account balance.
About Illness
We do want you to cancel if you’re not feeling well: it protects everyone. But often, illness doesn’t appear completely out of nowhere. If you start to feel off earlier, please cancel sooner rather than later. That small act of consideration makes a big difference for your therapist and for us as a business. The negative impacts on our business and therapist are the same regardless of the reason.
